Primary Activity Day

Our Primary activity day was Saturday. Our theme was "Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice" and we learned all about prophets. We had a visit from Moses- he taught the kids about the plagues of Egypt and fleeing into the wilderness.
King Benjamin was there too on his tower. He taught the kids about service and we listened to him in tents.
Paul came and told the kids his conversion story and then we wrote letters to the missionaries serving from our ward.
There was also a musical chairs station where the kids learned facts about the Latter-day prophets and sang "Follow the Prophet"
This is Kathryn in her tent getting ready to listen to King Benjamin.
We had headbands for all the kids to wear with their names on them in different colors to group them and then rotated from station to station. It was too much excitement for Joseph. He took a cat nap.
Travis was husband extraordinaire! He came and was a group leader, did audio visual set-up, and all the hard clean-up, take down, crazy stuff at the end of the day! He is so good to me and I appreciate his support and hard work.

What a neat idea for a Primary Activity! I may have to pass this along.
