MLK Day

We had a great MLK day. It was wonderful because Travis had the day off and the weather was wonderful. ... in the high 60's. We went to Dinosaur Ridge which is a preservation area just west of Denver where they have found dino bones and tracks. We went on about a 1 1/2 mile hike. The kids LOVED it. Spencer likes to go "off road" and explore all the trails. It was also paved so that made it nice to have Kathryn in the stroller.

Then we went to Red Rocks Ampitheatre. It is so beautiful. There is a great view of Denver and lots of room to run around and explore. Kathryn liked jumping down the stairs. Spencer went on the stage and did his wolf howl. It echoed through the whole ampitheatre.

We had such a fun time being together and exploring outdoors.

That place is huge looking!!!! The dinosaur tracks sound interesting. Tyler is study dinosaurs this week in school. Do you have any interesting pictures he could share with his class? Just email them to me if you have any. Thanks!
