This Friday Spencer was chosen to be the special helper for his class next week. As part of this he brought Lafcadio, the class mascot- a lion, home for the weekend. He had to keep a journal of the activities we did over the weekend and then report on Monday.
On Friday we went to Pizza Hut and got pizza and came home and watched the Nuggets on TV.Spencer fed the lion marshmallows because they are his favorite treat.
On Saturday we went on a family hike and Spencer put Lafcadio in his backpack and we forged trails. Kathryn liked throwning sticks off the bridge and watching them float down the creek. Today we played Monopoly with Lafcadio and had a nice family dinner. Spencer is excited to be the line leader this week and get to pass out papers. What fun kindergarten is!

Spencer is all grown up! I can hardly believe that he and Cynthia were only just 3 when we first all moved to Sunnyside. They are big school kids now! So- has Spencer gotten his acceptance to medical school yet?
