On Friday we went to the Denver Zoo with my Mom and Travis. It was so much fun. A little bit cold, but with our gloves on we were fine. Kathryn's favorite part is the snakes. She wouldn't stand by the statue for a picture though.
Spencer and Grandma rode on the carousel. He chose to ride on the panda. Kathryn called it "Panda Express." She rode on the peacock with Travis. They love carousels. 
All aboard! We went on the zoo train- which was really lame, but the kids enjoyed it. Spencer liked being the caboose and Kathryn loved waving at the people as we went around. It is so fun to do things like that and watch through the eyes of your children. They find wonder and excitement in everything.

Our kids love the zoo and LOVE carousels. Looks like you guys had fun, and how nice that your mom was able to come down for a visit. Are you guys surviving the super cold weather??
Is this the same Zoo you tried to go to a few weeks ago when you had such an horrid day? If so glad you made it!
