We went to the Museum on Friday. There was so much to see we spent the whole day there. Spencer made this cool arch in the "Kids Zone". He and Kathryn liked dancing to the music and playing the piano.
They have a HUGE dinosaur display with lots and lots of skeletons and fossils. It was really interesting. Spencer liked it all, but as you can tell from the picture Kathryn had her fill of it.
They had all sorts of nature dioramas. We saw bears, birds, sharks, and African animals. Kathryn liked it because she could run from one display to the next and see lots of different things.
One of our favorite places was Space Odyssey. The had telescopes, movies, and lots of light experiments to do. They had a kids area where Spencer got to dress up in a NASA commander suit.
Kathryn loved using the claw to pick up "moon rocks". It was a great day and we enjoyed being together as a family. We were so glad Travis could go with us.

Hey, your break sounds a little like ours. We stayed in town too, although Denver has a lot more to do than Sunnyside... The museum looks like a lot of fun! Glad Travis was able to come along too.
What a cool museum! I love the "keystone" arch that Spencer built! Looks like you had a lot of fun!
This looks like a great place to go! If we make is to Denver it will have to be on our places to go list.
