"Stay"- cation

This week for Spring break the weather was gnarly here in Denver. Too many canceled flights and closed roads to go on a road trip so we decided to have a "stay" cation instead of a vacation! As part of our festivities we let the kids pick a restaurant to go out to eat at.

Spencer chose to go to Le Peep. It is a chain restaurant that serves breakfast and brunch. Every time we drive by it by he sings out Leeeeee Peeeeep. He was so excited to go and try it out. He and Kathryn got "funny face" pancakes. They did a good job eating them and loved the whipped cream.


Kathryn picked Panda Express. She loves the panda! She ate all her orange chicken (none of the rice) and Spencer at all the rice (none of the chicken) so next time we'll just get one kids meal to split!
